Habits, habits, habits…


Hey there!


During COVID-19, if you’re like me, you’ve probably created some good habits and some not-so-good habits. I’m guessing good habits like: we’re less busy, slowed down, connected to our kids/family/friends more with Zooms and FaceTimes and for some of us a habit of more exercise and connection to nature. (Like no excuse not to exercise EVERY day, right?!)


And habits that I’m guessing we don’t want to carry forward with us: this much Netflix, this much wine, this many versions of yoga pants as our uniform, perhaps more sedentary on the couch, more fearful thinking…


The Inner Circle that I lead has been studying the power of HABITS…we highlighted the good, bad, and ugly! One of the lessons of the book, Atomic Habits is “Every action you take is a vote for the type of person you wish to become.” (Read that again!)

I want to become….a woman who gives from a full-cup (instead of being scattered and over-committed). My one habit that I’m focused on for May is building time into my calendar for self-care and me time so I am grounded before pouring out for others. For example, every weekday from 8-10am is my workout + me time. Putting it on my calendar ensures it happens! I’ve talked about this more in Best Life Tribe. Did you catch my video there?
